Glen Liddell Photography ("I", "me") is a photography business based in Swindon, Wiltshire, UK. This policy explains what personal information I collect through this website, why, and what your rights are under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

What I collect and why

• Enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), session preferences, and anything you write in your message. I use this solely to respond to your enquiry and arrange your session. Submissions are processed and stored by Netlify (this site's hosting provider).
• Calendly bookings: if you book a slot through the Calendly widget, Calendly collects your name, email, and booking details under its own privacy policy. I receive that information to manage your booking.
• Fonts: this site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address when the font files are requested.
• Analytics: I use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to count visits and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not collect any personal information — visit counts are anonymous and aggregated.

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and no cookie consent banner is required.

Legal basis

I process your information on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (responding to enquiries and arranging bookings), and legitimate interest in running my business.

How long I keep it

Enquiry details are kept for up to 12 months after our last contact, then deleted unless you've become a client — client records (bookings, contracts, invoices) are kept for 6 years for tax and legal purposes. Photographs from your session are governed by the terms agreed at booking.

Who I share it with

I don't sell or rent your information. It's only shared with the service providers named above (Netlify, Calendly, Google) as needed to run this website, and where required by law.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact me at glen.liddell2302@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
