How Much Does a Boudoir Shoot Cost? UK Pricing Explained

By Glen · September 2026 · 4 min read

Pricing is usually the first thing people want to know and the last thing photographers put on their website. I'd rather be straight with you, so here's exactly what a session costs with me, what's included, and what to watch for when you're comparing photographers.

My pricing, in plain numbers

I keep two simple options, and you keep every photo either way.

Location & home studio sessions — on location across the Cotswolds and London, or in my private home studio in Swindon:

Premium studio sessions — a professional studio with pro lighting, backdrops and props, studio hire included:

Every session also includes all of your unedited images, full posing direction, and no pressure to buy anything else afterwards.

What "you keep every photo" actually means

This is where a lot of boudoir pricing gets murky. Plenty of studios advertise a low session fee, then charge per image or sell you an expensive album at the end — so the real cost can run into four figures. I don't do that. Your finished edits are included in the price above, and you also get every single unedited frame from the day. No paywall, no hard sell.

How the deposit works

A 25% deposit secures your date, with the balance due on the day. The deposit is non-refundable, but life happens — if you need to move your session, just give me at least 48 hours' notice and it carries straight over to your new date.

Questions worth asking any photographer

Is it worth it?

Almost everyone I photograph tells me the same thing afterwards: they'd have booked years ago if they'd known how it would feel. You're not just paying for photos — you're paying for a couple of hours that genuinely change how you see yourself, and images you'll still love in ten years. That's the bit no price list quite captures.
