Christmas Boudoir: Book Before December Fills Up

If a boudoir shoot is on your Christmas list — whether as a gift for a partner or a bold treat for yourself — the single best thing you can do is book early. Here's why the festive season needs a bit of forward planning, and how to make the timing work.

Why book ahead for Christmas

The run-up to Christmas is the busiest stretch of the year, and weekend dates in November and December go first. On top of that, you'll want your finished images in good time to wrap or share — so working back from the big day matters.

Work back from the date

My finished edits are delivered within 10–14 days of your session. So if you want images ready to gift by Christmas, aim to have your shoot done by early-to-mid December at the latest — and earlier is safer once you factor in choosing your favourites. If it's a surprise, we can also arrange things so the lucky recipient books their own date in the new year.

A gift that isn't another jumper

A shoot is the kind of present people genuinely remember — an experience plus images that make someone feel wonderful about themselves. It works beautifully as a romantic gift, and just as well as something you quietly book for you at the end of a long year. (More on gifting a session here.)

December lends itself to rich, warm images — deep reds, soft firelight tones, a bit of sparkle. We can lean into the season or keep it timeless; entirely your call. As always, how much you show is up to you, and every pose is guided.

Secure your date

A 25% deposit locks in your slot, and the balance is due on the day. With Christmas dates limited, the sooner it's in the diary, the better.
