Boudoir After Kids: Postpartum Body Confidence
Having children changes your body, and it can change how you feel about it too. So many mums tell me they've spent years feeling like their body belongs to everyone but themselves. A boudoir shoot can be a genuinely powerful way to reclaim a bit of that — to look in the mirror, or at a photograph, and think "that's me, and I look incredible."
There's no "getting your body back" required
Let's put this one to bed first: you do not need to lose the baby weight, tone up, or wait until some future version of yourself before you're allowed to do this. Your body grew and carried a human. It's worth celebrating exactly as it is, today — stretch marks, softness, scars and all. Those aren't things to hide in the edit; they're part of your story.
A gentle, judgement-free session
Every shoot is fully guided and completely private. There's no audience, no rush, and no expectation to bare more than you want to — you set the level entirely, from elegant and covered to art nude, whatever feels right. We'll have a proper chat first, and the pace is always yours.
The timing is up to you
Some mums book a few months postpartum; others come years later when they finally decide it's their turn. There's no wrong time. If you're breastfeeding or still healing, we simply plan around it and choose poses and outfits that keep you comfortable throughout.
Bring a friend if it helps
If having someone in your corner would settle the nerves, you're very welcome to bring a partner or friend along. Lots of clients do, especially for their first shoot.
What you'll walk away with
Beautiful, professionally finished images — and, more often than not, a genuinely different relationship with your reflection. You'll keep every photo from the session, with your finished edits delivered within 10–14 days.
